Message from Mrs. Sunita padhi (Honorary Advisor and member of the Legal Council):
Dated 4th June, 2018
Education & safety for Women

What a woman is without education & safety. She is a human too just like man, with no difference except the gender. Neither she is weak nor she is dumb, neither she is less confident nor she is less brave.

What makes difference in the attitude is the set trend & environment around her.

Who is to take care of this gap ? Obviously the males of the family, the society & the Govt., apart from the the women section in every sector.

A girl is about to be born, and from the womb itself her struggle to survive starts as even in this modern era there are still people who do not want daughters in their family. The female is considered as a child producing or ego satisfying or need satisfying mechanism or medium and nothing beyond that. This way the very basic dignity is denied to females in the society at large. The female is not only portrayed as an object but also used as an object nullifying her valuable existence.

The IOED has a goal to act and do things towards empowerment of women apart from educating them. This noble aim can be strongly and considerably achieved with the cooperation of mass of intellectuals and skills.

The IOED intends to enrich the individual talents, address the lacunae and fill the gaps which is notably squeezing the number of women in every field. Team of IOED are happily waiting to explore all such positive opportunity that takes them towards fulfilling of this goal.

Less said and done more, is more attractive and meaningful. Thus, author pens down this much only.

Mrs. Sunita padhi (Honorary Advisor and member of the Legal Council)

Messages from Honourable Ministers, Government of India:
Message from Shri Jual Oram, Honourable Minister of Tribal Affairs, Government of India:

I am happy to know that the International Organization for Educational Development (IOED) is establishing tribal chair for the skill development in various universities & institutions in the country by collaborating between universities and industries.

I appreciate the laudable efforts of the IOED which is serving the countries and overseas by bringing technical and economic cooperation among its member countries.

I wish the IOED a great success in their endeavours to bring innovative skill development for the tribal communities.
Letter from Min. of Tribal Affairs

Message from Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Honourable Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Science, Government of India:
I am glad to know that the International Organization for Educational Development – IOED which is a world-wide Diplomatic Mission for education and economic cooperation is formally launching the Skill India Campaign under its pilot fetch in India. I understand that the IOED will converge, coordinate, implement and monitor the skilling activities across India.

For the first time, the skill of young people who lack formal certifications, such as workers in India’s vast unorganized sectors, will be recognized through an initiative known as “recognition of prior learning” (RPL), who will have a chance to be assessed and certified for the skills that they already possess. The IOED’s launch of the Skill India Campaign is an important milestone towards achieving the objectives of skilling with Speed, Scale and Standards across the country.

I congratulate the Management and Executive Members of the IOED for their vision and commitment to Youth Development and our country’s future.
Letter from Min. of Science

Message from Shri Kalraj Mishra, Honourable Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India:

I am happy to know that the International Organization for Educational Development – IOED which is established in India as a Diplomatic Mission for the Educational and Economic Cooperation has launched its project Skill India Campaign in our country and South Asian countries through its collaborative centres.

I understand that the need to provide this youthful manpower with skills and ability to tackle the global recognition for producing quality skilled manpower and constant updating of training programmes and syllabi to ensure the youth are exposed to the latest technology and industry environment when we face global challenges in human resources. The IOED linking with industries and global organizations to promote both apprenticeship and entrepreneurs is an important step to predict the possibilities of future and prepare for them today itself.

The launch of the mission assumes significance as “India currently faces a severe shortage of well trained, skilled workers. It is estimate that only 2.3% of the workforce in India has undergone formal skill training as compared to 68% in the UK, 75% in Germany, 52% in USA, 80% in Japan and 96% in South Korea. Large sections of the educated workforce have little or no job skills, making them largely unemployable. Therefore, India must focus on scaling up skill training efforts to meet the demands of employers and drive economic growth”.

I wish the Executive Team of the IOED all success.
